HISTORY
360 Wellness Village was established in April 2024 as a response to the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic on family health and economc opportunity for our young adults. Lack of access to healthcare, housing, and economic opportunity is a health issue for all families, globally.
MOVING FORWARD
360 Wellness Village started emerging in the hearts and minds of Rudy Morales and Dr Katherine J Sullivan in December 2023 when they first met. Mr Rudy Morales is an advocate and County Commissioner committed to sustainable changes in community health and wellness. Dr Katherine J Sullivan, a former University of Southern California faculty member, left academia after a 20 year career in 2013 to return to the community to work with the people in rural Riverside County in creating solutions to address the needs of families in poverty.
As a neuroscientist, Dr Sullivan taught her students that healing occurs when the brain relearns how to walk, talk, and think after sickness or injury. For those who are disabled or dying, the strength of community public health is how well our public health providers can protect those who cannot protect themselves.
When all licensed healthcare professionals are working at the “top-of- their” license and training, children, disabled adults, veterans, and seniors will receive healthcare that is timely, affordable, and scientifically-sound.
